Bringing you some of the most talented artists in the electronic music field, SanedracHunter Presents invites you to join us for our August edition. This month starts off with a resident mix by SanedracHunter (feat. Franccesco Cardenas & Luke Hunter) then moves to hour two with a big Miami local DJ QBA.

DJ QBA – (SMOKE N’ PIPE)
Comprising one part of the DJ duo Parantula, Gino a.k.a. QBA is one of Miami’s up and coming underground DJs, earning respect with having had residencies at Space, Crobar, Nocturnal, Aerobar, Dream ,and Nikki Beach. QBA is a South Florida native who was first introduced to his DJ partner Andrew in late 2003 and soon after began working side by side with him, fusing their complementary artistic and technical talents. Characterized by diverse, energetic and flowing grooves, QBA contributes his understanding of the crowds to a deep appreciation of all styles of music. While QBA’s early influences in electronica included, Freestyle, Deep House, Trance, Breaks, and Acid Jazz, his partnership steered him into a different style of house music, without causing him to lose appreciation of his roots. He still holds dearly to the music he listened to before electronica including Classical, Jazz, Soul, Rock, Old School Hip Hop, and Disco the influence of all these sounds can be heard throughout his sets.

QBA has played alongside the greats of the house music world such as Roger Sanchez, Robbie Rivera, Danny Tenaglia, Oscar G, Erick Morillo, Steve Lawler, Deep Dish, Victor Calderone and many more. He delivers when the time comes and his fans never forget his style or passion that he brings to the decks. Whether you caught him in Colombia or in Santo Domingo or in the Space (Miami) patio he will take you on a musical journey that will leave you hungry for more.

In the summer of 2006, Parantula released their first single “The World” on Juicy Music. “The World” was supported by the likes of Robbie Rivera, Oscar G, Willie Morales, Ivano Bellini, Saeed Younan and many others. From there on they entered a different world where fans wanted to hear more of what they had in store. In the spring of 2008 QBA had his first release on Juicy Music “Colombian Rush” an original track on his own. Since then he has continued to work on remixes for his friend Charlie Solana at Southside Recordings as well as release other originals works on different labels. Whether it’s a remix or an original track his style and passion for the music cuts right through to you on the dance floor.

Like a maniac he is controlling the dancefloor, cooking it up and finally giving it the relief by giving it the chance to explode. His very versatile productions for his own label Toneman but also for world-famous labels like Zenit, Ante Zenit, Chris Liebing`s CLR and many more exactly show what he is all about: Fighting purism, combining styles, showing that one artist can have different faces and even being able to combine them without loosing credibility. Why? Because it`s fun. For the artist, for the dancefloor. Why focussing on “Minimal”, “Techhouse” or “Techno” if you can have all?

Shane Silver is a young, up and coming talent from Los Angeles, California. Just shy of 18 years old, Shane has been producing music and spinning EDM since the age of 12. His style is eclectic and blurs the lines between deep grooves, techy breaks, and big emotional drops. His inspirations span from guys like Jimi Hendrix to more contemporary music figures like Aki Bergen and Ramon Tapia. Shane Silver’s first Beatport release “Club Drug” & “Mas Que Nada” dropped on May 25th under Three-O-Five Digital and is available for download now at Beatport & Juno Download.
